Nagoya Mission: (see article)

Our Crew 18's aircraft was in for repair and the regular tail gunner for Crew 13 was ill, so I volunteered for that fatal mission. That was the only mission I flew with Crew 13. I flew the rest of missions with my original Crew 18, except for first mission, that was with Crew 2 as their Tail Gunner was in the hospital.
