Guy was born and raised in Denver Colorado. His family roots trace back to Missouri where his Grandfather farmed his entire life. With sister Barbara in tow, Guy completed his high school studies before entering the Air Force.

After his war experience he graduated from the University of Colorado and finally married in 1953. Guy and his wife Rita had 3 sons who now each have 2 children.

September 1980

Guy pursued a career in electrical wire sales, first with Essex Wire in California and finally with his own firm GHE Sales in Washington. He retired to Sacramento in 1990 and enjoyed his final years in the sun and at the library where he also volunteered his time.

Guy passed away Jan 1, 2000 from a heart ailment.

His war experiences were an important part of his life and became more so as he aged.
