1st Lt Charles B. Gilford

Charles B. Gilford was born November 10, 1920 (and raised) in Kansas City, Missouri.

He had four children, and three grandchildren.

After the war, Dr. Gilford taught drama and writing at Rockhurst College, St. Louis University, UMKC, and JCCC.

During the course of his career, many of his mystery stories were published in Ellery Queen and Alfred Hitchcock collections, or received television production.

Original plays annotated for academic and community theaters are still produced.


1st Lt Charles B. Gilford, took his final flight on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the age of 89 yrs.
