                        the little bit that is known Edward Kudella was in the 
                        intelligence section and responsible for debriefing the 
                        combat crews after their missions. He 
                        left active duty immediately after the war but remained 
                        in the reserves and attained the rank of Major before 
                        he left in the mid to late 50's.  He 
                        worked for the federal government until retirement in 
                        the early 70's.  
                        He had a long and active retirement, primarily golf and 
                        gardening until the first of a series of strokes knocked 
                        him down in '89 and eventually took him in '92.  He 
                        and his wife, Marge were married for 49 devoted years 
                        when he passed, she succumbed to cancer in 2000 after 
                        a long battle. |
