Born
1918 in Norwalk, Connecticut.
He married Lydia Peters in 1939 and
they had their first child on 1942.
In the early years of WWII he worked
at General Aircraft Corporation.
Joined the Army Air Force in 1944. Final
training at Pratt AFB. Served as left gunner on “City
of Virginia Beach”. Flew 30 missions and was discharged
as Staff Sergeant.
He
worked as a Real Estate broker in Norwalk from 1950
until 1970.
He was an avid fisherman and boater. Died of a heart
attack while playing paddle tennis on February 6, 1970;
survived by his wife and five children. |
