Andy was born in Newark, NJ. He married Ernestine "Tina" Littell of New Haven, CT. He worked as a carpenter in the Miami, FL area, and his passions were deep-sea fishing and Jai Alai. Tina pre-deceased Andy in June 1995 ending a marriage that had lasted 40 years. Andy remained active in the American Legion and the V.F.W. until his death in May 2000. Andy's ashes are interned in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
