S/Sgt Leonard L. Celmer, Right Gunner, Crew 12

I received an email that a grandson of a 39th veteran interested in joining our email list on Yahoogroup.com. He mentioned that his grandfather served on Crew 12. Upon search terms searched on our site I found that a search had been done for Mr. Celmer which lead me to searching the local newspaper for Celmer's hometown and thus finding his obituary listed.

My last contact with Mr. Celmer was in August 2002 when he provided some additional information about his crew.

Our thougths and prayers are with his family.
