Albert L. Fierro, Left Gunner, Crew 43

It is with deep sadness that I inform you that my father, Albert, passed from this life Saturday morning, December 3, 2005 at 6:55 AM. He had been in a coma since Thursday night. I arose Saturday, early and suddenly, and felt the call to be with him. I was blessed to be present when he opened his eyes one last time, looked at me, took one last breath, and closed them as he left our world.

I am sure he would have liked the fact that he will be laid to rest on Pearl Harbor Day, Wednesday, December 7, 2005.
