Our visit to Lackland Air Force Base started with a lunch then a visit to the static display of various aircraft, which included the B-29 Superfortress. |
The above B-29 Superfortress is a RB/WB-29A Serial No. 44-62220 but is painted and marked to depict a B-29-40BW, Serial No. 42-24614, assigned to the 498th Bomb Group, 873rd Bomb Squadron. |
